We are currently seeking a Sr. Java Developer. This role has the flexibility to be fully remote or in person in any office location within the CST or EST time zones.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership.
  • Perform development using Java, JavaScript and other relevant programming languages.
  • Work within and across teams to design, develop, test and debug code for existing or new applications.
  • Provide technical mentorship to other developers.
  • Work closely with Product Management, QA, Professional Services and Customer Support.
  • Review business and functional requirements, contribute to the roadmap.
  • Work with QA, PM and Services to build test cases and documentation and explain impacted test areas.
  • Assist with development support issues
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of Java and JavaScript and common Java and JavaScript libraries.
  • Experience with Java, Python, and JavaScript
  • Spring Boot, SQL and Cloud experience required
  • Experience developing modern, attractive, web-based UIs.
  • Close familiarity with modern UI technologies.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • A good fit with co-workers, good people skills.
  • Positive working and strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Information Systems/Computer Science) or prior work experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in business analysis
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Planning and time management skills
  • Skilled multi-tasker with ability to manage numerous projects and tasks concurrently
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • SQL and Database knowledge a plus
  • Ability to lead and support project initiatives
Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders across business units.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users and stakeholders.
  • Analyze business operations and develop understanding of business objectives by gathering requirements
  • Identify substandard operational processes and provide recommendations for efficiency
  • Ensure enhancements and proposed solutions meet business requirements
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business demand
  • Develop and manage project plans
  • Experience with Jira a plus

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Develop Manual testcases from requirements and negative tests to uncover any possible production defects.
  • Researching issues in software through testing.
  • Communicate defects accurately and effectively to the team.
  • Collaborating with QA Team members and Software Developers to develop solutions.
  • Perform job duties with minimal supervision and escalate problems and concerns to leadership.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of IT experience
  • Experience with sql queries is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
